Where did Black Civilizations Go?

Stone carving of Negroid person found in area close to Washitaw Territories, Southern U.S.

Between my older brother and I we have this ongoing argument about who are ancestors are.  It is an argument that cannot be proven unless we can go back in time and meet these ancestors. My argument is that I believe what my father and my uncles told me about their Cherokee ancestor.   I see no reason why they would lie about it. But many things that they know, they got from their ancestors.  What if they are really Africans that were sold to Cherokee slave traders 300 years ago? What if they had children who became slave citizens of the Cherokee Nation then sold to White slave traders in the early days of the United States?

My brother believes what the educational establishment told him about himself. He believes that DNA test can determine who a person is descended from.  The problem here is that education is political and educators make up things depending on prejudice and the need to make money by selling books and lectures.

Gigantic stone head of Afro-Olmec (Xi People) of ancient Mexico, circa 1100 B.C.

Neither one of us have taken the position that our Black ancestors came to America as explorers from the Olmec Civilization around 1500 B.C. to 1000 B.C. That is when over twenty-two colossal heads of basalt were carved representing the West African Negroid racial types. Black people from West Africa entered Mexico between 800 B.C. to 600 B.C. and were speakers of the Mende language as well as writers of the Mende script or the Bambara script, both which are still used in parts of West Africa and the Sahara.

Bronze head of an ancient king from Benin, West Africa, The tradition of fine sculpture in West Africa goes back long before 1000 B.C.

So you see from this information that both my brother and I may be right about our ancestry. Our DNA shows that we are from West African decent but our ancestors say that we are Cherokees. We maybe Cherokees because Africans may have intermarried with other groups of people who moved here from other places before Christ was born and continued to come here until today. This is why many Native Americans are multi-colored people.

I would not be surprised if aliens had something to do with worldwide travel of people including Africans and the mixing of races over the last 10,000 years. Why else would maps of the Antarctic exist that was created before Antarctica was a known continent to human history? Who brought these large stones to them for carving? What machinery did they use when these people were suppose to be in the stone and bronze age? That my friends is another topic for another time!

One of your best and most interesting blogs. Our family and sub-cultural past is SO diversified and to pin our ancestry down is an insurmountable effort. I feel that both you and your brother are correct. It is still my opinion that humans originated in Africa which makes all man-kind basically of African descent. Check out "The Black Presence in the Bible." for more clarification of who we are. Thanks again for sharing this valuable information.
